wednesday wonderfulness, birthday edition!
Well, yesterday was my birthday, and I had all my links collected, but in the evening I got busy celebrating with le husband and ran out of time to post. Also working on a super-secret project for Joleen (wee!). So here you are! Don't worry, I'll have a couple of birthday pictures soon.
- Ok, so I love this mobile. So simple and chic. Anyone have spare piano wire hanging about?
- how to turn a place mat into a pillow. I have a ton of scary throw pillows right now--I might have to try this one!
- so bummed I didn't see this one before Easter. Whopper Eggs, anyone?
- altoids tin=travel candle! I love travel candles!
- shades of blue. Especially loving the floral band, and think I need to make some. (Although I doubt I can pull it off. I'll make my sisters-in-law wear them.)
- tootsie sock coolness! I think I'm just going to start tying ribbons around my shoes. Srsly.
- this shop is selling amazing handmade fabric roses. Not to steal their sales, but I bet someone can figure out how to make those, and wouldn't that be a lovely, class, but still-wallet friendly alternative to silk flowers? (You know, I need to start a list of those.)
- um, I want one of these necklaces.
- balloons + ballet dancers = breathtaking.

As to the birthday, I am now 28. OLD! Well, not really. But it sounds old. Fact: I am looking forward to my 30th. Another fact: I'm really looking forward to being actually old, because then I'll have an excuse to act it. If you know me IRL, you know I'm an 88 year old woman trapped in a 28 year old body. One day maybe my body will catch up. :D
