how to: throw a surprise party on six hours notice

Step one: get flu for two days, effectively canceling all birthday shenanigans for husband.

Step two: recover in time to convince him not to cancel youth group even though he's crazy busy and doesn't have time to prepare the lesson.

Step three: have brainstorm. Send out mass text and recruit said youth group members.

Step four: delegate purchasing of decorations and munchables via text.

Step five: get off work, race home, change, approve already hung decorations, wait for husband to walk through door,

Step six: yell 'Suprise!" and rejoice in the fact that WE PULLED IT OFF. (And he's the hardest person ever to surprise.)
