thrifty happiness

My Friday shopping trip was most profitable, yielding several gems. Here are a few of my favorites.

Five balls of 75% mohair, 25% wool in this lovely creamy color. $1.50
Black Nine West wedge-heeled sandals, barely worn. $2
This was my splurge: orange silk fifties-era dress lined with orange taffeta. Very full-skirted with simple sleeveless top. $5. (The waist is so tiny I can't zip it; fortunately when they altered it in they didn't clip the seams, so I'll be able to let it back out.)
