what I'm taking on vacation

5 swimsuits
5 dresses
1 pair of jeans
1 long-sleeved tshirt
1 sweatshirt
1 pair of shorts
a couple of tank tops
2 pairs of flip flops
1 pair of espadrilles
1 pair of sneakers (for hiking on the dunes)
1 ipod
1 camera
about 17 books (give or take a few)

What I'm not taking:
anything with high heels
anything that requires me to "suck in" to wear it
anything requiring specific underwear. Baggy is the name of the game!

I would just like to take this opportunity to publicize the fact that my husband is taking more shoes than I. I think I've created a monster. This is the sort of monster, however, with which I will most happily live.
