headpiece frenzy
So my youngest (!) sister is getting married, and we're 99.9% sure it will be New Years Eve. Yes, that's this year. Needless to say, a frenzy of weddingness has ensued. Perhaps surprisingly, I don't hate wedding preparations. In fact, I'm loving talking about all sorts of details with her.
So one of her things is that we bridesmaids aren't going to carry flowers. Instead, we will wear amazing headpieces. Peacock feathers are the unifying motif here, and I think we're making the headpieces, so I went for inspiration to Etsy. Now I'm madly in love, and want to buy a few of these to wear everyday.

I want to be invited.
no bridesmaids flowers. no bridesmaids processional. no cake. no garter. no bouquet toss. no boring traditional music. no long ceremony. no matchy-matchy colors.
what will there be?
lots of dancing, champagne, glamorous dresses and sheer fabulousness.
that's how we roll. =D
(seriously? laura is the most amazing godsend in planning this wedding. if it weren't for her, i'd probably have all the aforementioned things--and worse.)
I LOVE it and the headpieces you have here. I cannot WAIT to see pictures from this :)
I think the groomsmen should walk w/ bouquets or nosegays... that would be hilarious and/or completely bizzaro.
(not necessarily in your sister's wedding) It would make for some great pictures!
