I wanna be: zooey deschanel

I love Zooey. She always picks quirky, hilarious characters, and her hair is what I'm trying to grow mine out to. She totally rocks the superfair skin and dark hair, resisting the hollywood trend of oompa-loompa orange. And her clothes? She seems to have the worlds most inexhaustible collection of adorable little dresses. I think the first time I saw her was as the sister in Almost Famous, and I loved her drawly voice and clothes there; her character usually have fabulous style. So enjoy some eyecandy.

wow, zooey is one of my all-time favorites. she's highly underrated as an actress, has a fabulous smoldering voice (her singing voice rocks, too), and is so classically beautiful that none of those bleached, tanned hollywood types hold a candle to her. her sister emily is awfully pretty, too. great collection of pictures!

I love Zooey!! She is one of my all time fav. actors to watch :) I was actually just watching one of her movies the other day :) She just seems so down to earth and fun!!

I did love her in "The Happening" (perfect hair!) and I've been wanting to rent "Tin Man" but it's one of those that I don't think the husband will want to watch with me.

You and me both! I've been obsessed with achieving the "Zooey look" lately, including getting her haircut (which is fabulous, btw - it looks best when you've just rolled out of bed!). Have you heard her album with M. Ward, Volume One? Check it out - lovely folksy music with that kick of cool retro.
