a visual feast

On reading through my feeds, I managed to collect several sites that feature photography, and the portfolio of one man who makes lovely...sculptures? I suppose that's what they are.

• downfloat fotographie. Love the site design as well as the images.
• julia fullerton-batten. The teen girl photos are intriguing.
• the classic: Robert Capa's D-Day photos. I saw these on display at the Smithsonian a couple of years ago, and the story is so incredible. What's amazing is how few of the images survived.
• bookcut. These sculptures are so lovely--a combination of books and art. I am spending entirely too much time going through the images.
