hooray knitters!

Finally got to go to my first Stich n B* last night. I was a tiny bit disappointed at first at the fact that there were only two people. I always thought these get-togethers were massive affairs? But Denise and Ashley provided plenty enough conversation/instructions/general joviality. It's so lovely to meet new people, especially ones who teach me how to do a new cast on.
It's funny; most of my friends out here are people that my husband knew first, so there's a certain level of expectation. I love meeting people based solely on the fact that we have similar interests. It's just fun.
