It's a hat! A green hat! With ears! I started this yesterday and was having so much fun I knit the last ear on my lunch break today. I'll post the pattern tomorrow, because, you know, everyone needs more ogre. Do let me know if you have any problems with this pattern!

Need: size 10 1/2 circular (15 inches)

Cast on 60 stitches using circular needle.

Do K1, P1 ribbing for one inch.
Knit until hat is 4 inches long.
Row 1: Place a stitch marker after every 12th stitch.
Row 2: Knit around; K2tog at each marker (55 stitches)
Row 3: knit
Rep. rows 2-3 4 times. Switch to dpns as necessary. (35 stitches)
Row 12: K2tog at each marker.

Cut yarn and draw through stitches.

Ears:

Using size 5 dpns, pick up 9 stitches on the upper left wide of the hat; three stitches per needle.
